Your Key Responsibilities

• Oversee export control issues within the legal entity, serving as the Export Control Empowered Official.
• Analyze and monitor national and international export control regulations for relevance and applicability to the legal entity.
• Support the product and technology jurisdiction and classification process; apply for and maintain government export authorizations.
• Ensure compliance with export control laws and regulations, export authorizations and permits, and the legal entity's export compliance program.
• Initiate and ensure the execution of assessment programs related to export control matters.
• Conduct training sessions and support the Regional Export Control Manager in daily activities and special projects.
  
  Your Qualifications
  
  Minimum:
  
  • Post-secondary Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant export control experience
  • Expertise in US Export Control Laws and Regulations and w orking knowledge of Canada and EU Export Control regulations
  • Ability to assess and execute tasks relevant to Export Control
  • Adequate technical acumen and experience with jurisdiction and classification analysis, and strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • High degree of dependability and conscientiousness, with the ability to make appropriate fact-based decisions and assess risks
  • Able to review and have a basic understanding of export control agreements, licenses / permits, and regulatory language
  • Knowledge of and experience with SAP GTS Export Control tool or similar Export Control tools
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    • Export Control experience in the aerospace industry
