About the OpportunityDelaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join the team at State Grill and Bar in New York, New York. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your grilling techniques in a fast-paced kitchen, delivering high-quality grilled creations to our valued guests.Responsibilities

• Prepare and grill a variety of dishes according to established recipes, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Monitor internal temperatures of various meats and ingredients to ensure food safety and quality.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet service demands and maintain a clean and organized grill station.
• Oversee and manage inventory levels for grilling ingredients and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.Requirements
  • 2 years of proven experience as a Grill Cook or a similar role is required.
  • Expertise in grilling techniques, temperatures, and timings is essential.
  • Ability to handle high-volume grilling with precision and maintain a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required to succeed in this role.Work EnvironmentThe Grill Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing and walking for the entire length of the shift.
