The Consulate Midtown is a fine dining restaurant located in the
heart of the city, known for its exceptional culinary experience.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef
to join our team as a key contributor to the success of our kitchen
operations.As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing
the day-to-day activities of the kitchen, ensuring that all menu
items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and
presentation. This includes managing kitchen staff, ordering
inventory, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and
adhering to food safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present
high-quality dishes that meet the expectations of our discerning
customers.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise and manage kitchen staff,
ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and
effectively.
- Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory, ensuring that
all kitchen supplies are fresh and of high quality.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized
workspace, adhering to strict food safety protocols.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to kitchen staff,

- Experience: 2 years of experience in high-volume or fine dining
environments.
- Knife Skills: Accurate knife skills and the ability to work

- Food Safety: Strong understanding of food safety protocols and

responsibilities.Compensation Details:We offer a competitive salary
of $68,000 - $72,000 per year, plus a range of benefits and perks,
