Job Description:
Join our James Beard Award-winning team and work with Chef
Dominique Ansel.
- Oversee bakery operations, manage team, and ensure world-class
customer service.
- Manage shifts, scheduling, and planning while maintaining
standards and quality.
- Set daily pars, plan new menu items, and coordinate with GM and
Executive Chef.
- Meet deadlines for menu development and oversee outside events
and chef collaborations.
- Lead production, special orders, and events, and manage waste
and inventory.
- Complete daily reporting, ensure accurate invoices, and
negotiate vendor prices.
- Track and report wastage, and implement corrective plans.
- Be a brand ambassador, provide hospitality training, and
maintain excellent sanitary practices.
- Oversee porters, floor sweeps, and maintenance of kitchen and
dining areas.
- Interview new team members, direct hiring, and supervise
employees.
- Develop new products, ensure timelines and deadlines, and train
the culinary team.
- Roll out new products, ensure company standards, and source
packaging.
- Complete regular maintenance walk-throughs, repair equipment,
and ensure upkeep and maintenance of machinery and equipment.As a
leader, you must be flexible and jump in wherever needed. You will
cover shifts, work holidays, and follow up on maintenance. You are
a role model for the culinary team and should show leadership,
initiative, and personality.
