Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at
Nightly's, an American Bar & Bistro on the Upper East Side. The
Nightly's menu features classic American favorites infused with
European flair and international elegance.The ideal candidate will
have 2+ years of culinary management experience in a high volume
New York City restaurant, with experience in all kitchen stations,
expediting, and team direction. They must have a dedication to
culinary excellence, cleanliness, organization, and team success,
as well as food handlers certification from the NYC Department of
Health.The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the
Executive Chef with menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and kitchen
operations. They will also be expected to maintain a high level of
organization, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.A
comprehensive package is offered, including a base salary range of
$68,000 - $72,000, paid vacation and sick time, and commuter
