Job Description:

Sous Chef role for The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad. Lead and manage restaurant operations, execute menus, educate staff on regional history and cuisine, and develop culinary standards. Key responsibilities include food safety, inventory management, and team leadership. Requirements include 3+ years of sous chef experience, culinary degree, and knowledge of culinary fundamentals. This is a dynamic food and beverage position in a world-class hotel.Responsibilities:

  • Manage restaurant operations, including food safety, inventory, and labor management.
  • Execute menus to brand standards, educate staff on regional history and cuisine.
  • Develop and execute culinary standards, including menu execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage team, including recruitment, training, and development.
  • Communicate JAG's vision to team, guests, and vendors.Requirements:
    • 3+ years of sous chef experience
    • Culinary degree preferred
    • Knowledge of culinary fundamentals
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
