Job Description:
We are hiring a Sous Chef with Southeast Asian cooking
experience. As a team player, you will manage a staff of 10-15
cooks, maintain food costs, and create specials and new menu items.
Requirements include a year of experience as a Jr Sous Chef,
knowledge of culinary techniques, and the ability to multitask in a
fast-paced environment. We offer a team of talented professionals,

--- Managing a staff of 10-15 cooks
--- Hiring and training BOH staff
--- Ordering and maintaining food costs
--- Creating prep lists for the staff
--- Working with the CDC to create specials and new menu items
--- Expediting
--- Preparing and maintaining work station on the line up to 2
shifts a week
--- Maintaining professional standards
--- Working clean, efficiently, and with respect for
ingredients
--- Maintaining a positive work environment via effective,
professional communication with other employees and managers
--- Keeping equipment clean and in excellent working condition
--- Ensuring that all dishes are consistently prepared and served
according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and
service standards
--- Experience working in a professional kitchen as a Jr Sous Chef
for a minimum of 1 year
--- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, procedures and
equipment
--- Ability to think quickly and multi-task in a fast paced
environment
--- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
