Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Medical Coder - Inpatient or
Outpatient.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain medical records and code data from medical records for
outpatient or inpatient services
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate
clinical documentation and compliant reimbursement
Apply appropriate ICD-10 and PCS codes for coding, billing, and
regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of medical coding experience in Outpatient, Inpatient, or
Pro Fee
One or more professional coding certifications from AAPC or
AHIMA
Willingness to undergo a federal background check
Associates Degree is preferred
