WINE FOR THE WORLD - NORTHEAST SALES MANAGER About Us Wine for the World is a New York-based importer and distributor of thoughtful, delicious wines. We represent winemakers from around the world that champion socially and environmentally responsible business practices with a positive impact on the world and in their communities. We appreciate diversity in all forms, from the wine to the person pouring it.The Northeast Sales Manager will:- Maintain and develop strong relationships with on- and off-premise accounts in the New York market- Identify, establish, and manage relationships with distributors in designated distribution markets, as well as directly with accounts in those markets- Manage daily activities, distributor work-withs, sales meetings, in-store tastings and industry trade shows- Execute quarterly distributor planning and goal meetings with distribution partners- Achieve sales targets and profit objectives by brand and by state- Develop and create a "Go to Market" action plan tailored for each new distributor launch- Track and monitor placements, depletions, and trends across all channels- Audit distributor billbacks and take corrective action if needed- Develop and implement regional market plans at the distributor level to include the measurement and analysis of distributor performance against objectives- Communicate market data, activities, and inventory needs clearly and regularly within organization- Submit trip and expense reports in a timely manner- Travel approximately 10-20%You will meet or exceed the qualifications for this role with the following:- 5+ years of current wine sales experience.
