Job Description:

Summary:Program Manager is responsible to support & manage the day-to-day activities for new product launch projects with the objective to successfully commercialize and launch new products for SUN pharma. He/she develops end-to-end highly detailed cross-functional project plans that captures launch critical activities, KPIs, milestones, task owners & scenario plans to proactively mitigate impactful risks and successfully deliver results. In addition, he/she must support and improve processes that impact key business areas like Branded product label review. Global launches & LCM studies. This role will support the main point-of-contact between the brand, sales leadership, shared cross-functional project teams (local and global) and the PMO.

Reports into Head of Global Commercial Program Management Office. Sun Pharma works on a HYBRID work-week: 3 Days in office; 2 Days remote. -Area of Responsibility:

  • Coordinate, Support & Align with Senior Program Leads on the Overall Launch Planning Process across all key stakeholders - US & Global
  • Help develop a robust, risk weighted scenario launch plan with alignment across cross-functional team leads & senior program leads. Understand and proactively recommend improvements in operational and go-to-market processes.
  • Ensure robust and timely execution of launch activities, critical path tasks, milestones and deadlines. Ability to be proactive and follow-up with teams to continuously update the plan and prioritize activities as needed for the successful implementation of the project.
  • Support the Senior Program leads by actively contributing to the recurring and ad-hoc cross-functional meetings to ensure all launch critical tasks, functional deliverables and timelines are on track.
  • Ensure that performance metrics are defined, tracked, and reported to leadership teams.
  • Help develop and maintain a robust project RACI matrix
  • Assure all completed deliverables are stored in shared repository on time and dependency assessments are conducted regularly.
  • Help the lead with the preparation of project performance status & monthly status reports across all brands
  • Help the lead with the planning & execution of PMO workshops and summits as needed.
  • Help the lead with ad-hoc business projects & processes with global impactEducation, Qualifications and Skillset:
  • Continue to enhance knowledge base through internal and external trainings and seminars
  • BS/ MS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related scientific field is required
  • PMP certified or path to earning PMP highly desirable
  • Proficiency with Enterprise Project Management tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smart Sheet, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Quick Learner, Problem Solver, Results & Solution Oriented
  • Strong Communication Skills -Verbal & Written
  • Timely responses along with concise and factual contents
  • Highly Sensitive to Timelines, Project Commitments & Exceeding Stakeholder Expectations

  • Travel up to 10%Experience:
  • 6-8 years of Pharmaceutical industry experience with at least -3+ years of relevant Project Management experience in manufacturing, new product commercialization and/or clinical product development is required or equivalent
  • Experience in R&D, Manufacturing, Clinical phases leading to IND/ NDA filings - US and Global Regulatory Project Management is required
  • Experience in integrating and aligning diverse technical functions like quality, regulatory, supply chain and commercial teams- internal and external vendors to one project goal
  • Experience in project/program management of moderately-complex projects across diverse regions and cultures
  • Successful track record of delivering results through leading high performing teams
  • Proven to build strong business relationships with all stakeholders, influence & drive decisions
  • Solution centric approach to bring teams together to resolve priority risks & issues proactively with an eye on the big picture
  • Process & Data driven to aid teams to make decisions
  • Proven to multi-task & handle complex issues in a balanced manner
  • Experienced in Conflict & Change Management
