ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager of Events. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination and execution of various events and functions to ensure their successful implementation. This role will report directly to the Manager, Event Production.YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Assist Manager, Event Production in all aspects of event planning and execution, including ticketing, venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, logistics and timeline management.
  • Manage the event page creation, workflow and operations for the Splash event management software platform and its usage across multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of event details and requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage event logistics and any other event-related resources.
  • Develop and maintain event timelines and documentation to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in creating event budgets, tracking expenses and providing regular reports to management on the financial status of events.
  • Assist in overseeing event registration and attendee management, ensuring accurate record-keeping, ticketing and providing excellent customer service to our members and attendees.
  • Provide on-site representation during events, including setup, coordination of staff, troubleshooting and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Remains vigilant of opportunities for overall improvements in the creation, planning and execution of all events and actively addresses them.
  • Responsible for all correspondence relating to event communications and member email inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Contributes in the ideation process to Identify unique opportunities for events and experiences to drive brand engagement.YOU BRING TO PELOTON
    • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
    • Proven experience in event planning, coordination and execution, preferably in a sports or entertainment environment
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills with an attention to detail
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as, a positive and professional attitude
    • Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as event registration platforms.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
