Job Description:

Job Summary: Casa Lever seeks a skilled Floor Manager to lead our restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.Key Responsibilities:Managerial:

  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed.
  • Select and train employees with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
  • Direct daily work activities, including floor plans, section assignments, and side work.
  • Monitor and manage discrepancies in registers between shifts.
  • Maintain the overall appearance of the service staff.
  • Identify areas for improvement and communicate suggestions.
  • Assist with training and develop training materials.
  • Focus on assigned areas of the restaurant that require attention.Service:
    • Communicate guest issues and requests to the service staff and culinary team.
    • Support staff with tasks and resolve operational issues.
    • Lead by example and personalize service to build loyalty and repeat business.Product Presentation:
      • Maintain the quality of food and beverages.
      • Assist with inventory management and maintain the appearance of the dining room.Labor Management:
        • Direct daily work activities and review staff performance.
        • Set a positive example and mentor staff.
        • Support the management team to maintain service and hospitality standards.Administrative:
          • Monitor menu and pricing accuracy.
          • Respond to company emails in a professional manner.
          • Monitor Avero reports and follow up on necessary repairs.Financial:
            • Suggest promotions and increase revenue.
            • Monitor and manage registers between shifts.
            • Enforce laws and regulations.Self-Development:As a Floor Manager, it is essential to maintain current knowledge of the restaurant industry and develop this knowledge on your own time. The company will assist with educational goals related to the role.Required Skills:
              • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain personal cleanliness.
              • Food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills.
              • Effective communication and understanding of direction in English.
              • Time management and ability to work under pressure.
              • Active listening and learning skills.
              • Reading and speaking comprehension skills.
              • Discipline to follow set standards.
              • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
