Job Description:

A financial services company in New York City is actively seeking an analytical and hardworking professional to join their staff as their new Accountant / Senior Accountant. In this role, the Accountant / Senior Accountant will work with financial information from an in-house accounting perspective.

Responsibilities

The Accountant / Senior Accountant will:

• Produce quarterly investment reports from the database
• Review general ledger reports
• Generate internal correspondence
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for Fund entities
• Provide auditors with necessary supporting documentation in connection with the year-end audit
• Assist tax team with the preparation of the Fund entity tax returns and tax planning projects
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and confidential issues
• Assist in a wide variety of projects as assigned Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of Big 4 audit or Fund Administration experience
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Team-oriented Desired skills
    • Investran experience
