The Opportunity and Role: - Capital One's Community Finance team originates debt and equity to support affordable housing development. Community Finance provides debt financing, and invests in low income housing credits through proprietary and multi equity funds. The Capital Officer team is primarily responsible for managing relationships with developers and other industry stakeholders. Capital Officers market our products, understand the competitive landscape and market needs, identify opportunities that align with Capital One's overall strategy, and elevate market intelligence to key partners in External Affairs and across the company. - We are seeking a passionate, motivated, emotionally intelligent Senior Manager to be an active member of a team focused on sourcing mission- and strategy-aligned multi-family housing development opportunities. Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 7 years of experience in client management, business development, financial services, or any combination of the three At least 3 years of experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) At least 2 years of experience in lending, investments, community development lending, community development investments, or any combination of the four Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in market analysis At least 7 years of experience pertaining to affordable housing, community development or any combination of the two Completion of credit training program (or equivalent work experience) At least 3 years of people management experience At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $172,900 - $197,300 for Sr. Manager, Community Finance Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
